The Elegance of Winter

Always wandering through odd layouts and unique spaces, I find that places like Pinterest and Young House Love provide great resources to the client looking for creative solutions to the eclectic nook.   Whether you’re in the mood to utilize a forgotten corner or envision a way to tie in a new theme… or maybe you’re just bored one Saturday, heed my latest.   Bachman’s Floral puts on a decorative show every season in their Ideas House.  The 1920’s bungalow is located across the street from the flagship store on Lyndale and is a chance for the fabulously creative Bachman’s team to bring their ideas and merchandise to life.

Here are photos from earlier this year in the Spring ideas house:

According to my in-house source, this season’s palatte is unbelievable.  The holiday house tones down the headache inducing red-and-green with soft creams, celadon and muted blues mixed with festive metallic.  Appropriately titled “The Elegance of Winter,” the house is open November 10th– December 18th and tickets can be purchased at Bachman’s or online here.  Familiarize yourself with the spaces by the Themes by Room and then hop over to the store to pick up your favorite pieces.

Although I hate skipping over my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, I’ll be going this weekend on a mother-daughter outing and I simply can’t wait!
